(Of course same photo from my other entry.)
2 weeks later Lumber Liquidator had the price reduced more to $269, I used nice guy discount and they are nice enough to refund $30 difference.
That begs the questions on why didn't us rent one from Home Depot. Because....we want to work 1 hr a day, we can't allocate a few days at once to finish the job.
It is a very professional tool, because there is no instructions in the box. You will see right away on the tool that you need to oil it daily.
The nailer is pneumatic, so I use this air compressor, my olde faithful Porter and Cable air compressor.
Yet one more thing you will need are.....cleats, 18 GA cleats. I don't have an opinion on cleats vs staples on floor. Cleats are serrated, but staples hold it very tight too. As shown on the box:
I used 2 brands of cleats:
Freeman 1 1/2 in long, 18 GA
Porta Nails, 1 1/2 in long, 18 GA
I got them form Amazon.com , both works great. I'd like to keep them from excessive dirt/dust just to avoid any jam.
Bottom line for us: simple operation, reliable and does the job. (Touch wood) I haven't had any jam. I don't see it coming either.
I love using it, very efficient and get the job done well.
