Turned Around

My son was sick on Firday, June 8, so I took a KIN care day off. Naturally I wanted to try day trade for a day.

After two consecutive down days, I had a few put options and watching them as every minutes go by. Unfortunately it wasn't a down day, and I turned out to be a bullish day. So I closed out the GS and SPY real early and watch, I mean literally watch the minute candles of X.

Yee went to Shu Wah to get us lunch, when she left the chart was moving down painfully slow, I planned to close X 115 Puts also if it does not do any thing in order to have a good and care free weekend.

Just got off from the phone with Yee as she returns from Richardson and stunk in the traffic. My puts turned from a profit to lost in a minute and quick. I spot the three white soldiers, and sold my puts right away. Then in less than 10 sec, I got 3 contracts of 115 Calls. By the time Yee comes back, those Calls have make me $1800!

We watched it for a few more minutes and we sold them at $13.30 but I got them at $5.80. It was a handsome profit for a small stake. I was so happy. Finally the opportunity came and I took it.

It turns out that there was a rumor of X being bought out by someone. It naturally went up.

Boy what a week.
