Double Vision

Yee and I both wanted the best for Markkus. We try to give him anything within our abilities. The best "material" we can give him is our genes. As I mentioned in this blog before, Markkus taken my crooked pinkies, Clinodactyly to be exact. Secondary is his crossed eyes. He has been wearing glasses for +6.5 for the last couple of months and Dr. David Stager Jr. suggested to operated on his eyes' muscles to correct that, rather than using only glasses because it has not shown enough improvement. We were so worried that if anything may go wrong during the operation.

Dr. David Stager Sr. is the pre-most expert in Dallas for strabismus, Dr. Stager Jr. is no less in this expertise. Plus his is recommended by our trusted pediatrician Dr. Richard Daniel. More about him later.

Markkus had the operation May 18, it took about 15 mins and alot of our hearts. He came out find and it was a success, of course, I don't expect anything less from Dr. Stager. He relaxed the inside muscles on both eyes and both of the eye's white part has turned red, the was the first thing I observed.

His first night was ok, I supposed the anesthesia still is affecting his body. Last night his eyes are giving him pressure and he could not sleep, Yee gave him some Motrin at 3:00 am and he is ok since.

Well Markkus will stay home for the rest of the week because Yee was very cautious and don't want to get his eyes infected. And we will be watching him every moment.
