The last day before my vacation, my current project is shutdown. No progress for the last 4 months was one of the reasons. No customer contract was another reason. They also fired one Project Manager, and they may as well ready to fire me!
Funny how things turned out, this is a hopeless company with hopeless projects. For all I know, almost every project is over run and delayed. Margin is razor thin.
In addition, I am surrounded by idiots. The guy in front of my desk, does nothing in his whole life. The guy behind me, has been with this company for 17 freaking years and can barely speak English. The guy next to me is another idiot, talks a lot and just another loser. This is a place filled with mediocre people with no where to go. Chinese, Indian and other foreigners whom when to tier 2 local schools. All of them speak some sub par English. Because the company can only attract 2nd tier people, and it will just dump me down even further. The twist of my fate has made me aware that only way to improve my life is to leave this place.
As an tech employee, I am as disposable as a ream of copy paper. Luckily, I have my plan B which is to get into an MBA program and make a six figure salary upon graduation.
